Employee Highlight: Chris Moore

This month’s employee highlight is Chris Moore, Engineering Manager at SPEC Engineering. As Engineering Manager, Chris is responsible for the oversight of the engineering and manufacturing departments, along with helping project managers and sales deliver quotes and customer service.

Prior to joining the SPEC team, Chris worked as a machine designer and project manager for 21 years in the food processing industry at a company that worked with groups like McDonald’s, Tyson, and Kraft. Chris is also a graduate from Purdue University. That work lined him up perfectly for a role at SPEC! He was attracted to SPEC because he could grow his work responsibility and have more of a leadership role. Over the past few months, Chris has enjoyed working on several interesting and challenging projects. His favorite part of SPEC is the teamwork and collaboration that happens in the office and on-site!

In his free time, Chris has spent the past 10 years coaching his daughter’s travel softball league. However, he is recently ‘retired’ from this and excited to spend this summer relaxing! He might even take up golf again!
